Client Development Financial Services Vice President
Our client, a highly respected fee-only portfolio management and fiduciary firm with over $200 billion in assets under management, is looking for qualified financial professionals to join their firm in their Camas, WA office as a Client Development Financial Services Vice President. As a Client Development Financial Services Vice President, you will be in a specialized client-facing role focused on growing business from existing clients and referrals, by providing holistic financial planning and portfolio service analysis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Grow business in a client-facing role from both existing and former high-net-worth clientele, as well as their referrals, who have assets more than $500k per household
Work alongside an established sales and service support team, who will assist you in being successful within the role by managing client retention, lead generation, trading, and investment research, while you take on the responsibility to help our client’s high-net-worth clientele reach their financial goals
Call current clients who have liquid assets outside of our client’s management, as well as generate referrals, to meet with the current, former, and prospective high-net-worth clientele via telephone and in-person meetings to gather additional new business
Convey and present the firm’s investment management strategies to the high-net-worth clientele, which will include holistic financial planning and portfolio service analysis
Obtain documentation from current, former, and prospective high-net-worth clientele needed to add accounts to our client’s firm
Requirements
5 or more years of experience with client-facing or production-based roles within the financial industry
Current Investment Advisor Representative designation, OR Series 65, OR a combination of FINRA Series 7 and Series 66, OR qualifying financial professional designations or equivalents—the firm will also assist you in obtaining the Series 65 within 60 days of start date
Extensive market knowledge and understanding of capital markets and investment products
Extensive experience with growing business via referrals, as well as high-volume phone activity and in-person meetings
Benefits
$80,000 base salary to start with a gradual step-down decline to $40,000 base salary; compensation also includes uncapped commission, as well as a quarterly bonus
