Job Description

Diesel Mechanics (class A or B) maintains off-road Mack trucks and service vehicles around the mill site so our trucks can function safely and operate at top performance. Our Mechanics need to be versatile and have a working knowledge of electronic engines and be willing to lead others. Required: 2-5 years of vehicle maintenance experience

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of diesel engines

Experience with Mack,Freightliner, Taylor

Must have their own tools

Experience in preventative maintenance

Diagnostic skills

Change tires

Order parts

Operate the vehicles when needed

Experience with engine maintenance; lube, oil, and filter

Experience with electronic engines

Familiarity with spring and air suspension systems

Familiarity with hydraulic systems

Familiarity with air brake systems

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Metal FabricationQualifications

Maintain a clean truck

Inspect and report equipment issues to maintenance

Operate and maintain equipment safely

Aid mill/customer employees with internal logistics needs

Report any issues, incidents, or hazards to the supervisor on duty

Perform other tasks as assigned.

Additional Information

This is a full-time Salary position. There is occasional overtime based on the need of the business. On call support 24/7.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21/hr working 50-60 hours each week.
