Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Laborers. This role involves palletizing and shrink wrapping products, cleaning and sanitizing workstations, moving materials with a manual pallet jack, and weighing products before they are sent to the warehouse. The position is physically demanding and requires the ability to handle heavy objects.

Responsibilities

Palletize and shrink wrap products.

Clean and sanitize workstations.

Move products and materials using a manual pallet jack.

Weigh products and record digital weights on a small scale.

Move filled bags weighing up to 50 lbs, with assistance for heavier loads.

Push and pull bowls on wheels weighing up to 1,000 lbs, moving at least 8 bowls per shift.Essential Skills

Experience in general labor, construction, manufacturing, or a similar environment within the last 5 years.

At least 1 year of continuous employment with the same company in the last 5 years.

Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

The work environment includes a small town/family-like atmosphere with approximately 30 full-time employees. Safety and adherence to good manufacturing practices are critical. The dress code requires steel-toed boots, hair nets, eye protection, jeans, shirts, bump caps, and lab coats. The facility can be hot in the summer, reaching up to 90 degrees in some rooms, while remaining comfortable in the winter. Candidates must adhere to strict guidelines regarding personal attire and hygiene, including no smoking, perfume, cologne, jewelry, or piercings. Orientation sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:00 pm, lasting 3-4 hours, with the first working shift scheduled afterward.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albert Lea, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.75/hr.
