First Shift: 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $18-19/hr
Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will prepare products for shipment by using various machines to ensure proper packaging and quality. This includes using a counter machine to measure proper lineage feet, bundling and packaging moldings into cartons, and cutting finished moldings to desired lengths using a blocking machine. You will need to understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to improve productivity and quality.
Responsibilities
Use a counter machine to ensure proper lineage feet are shipped.
Bundle moldings by taping the longer lengths at each end.
Fold carton boxes around moldings and secure with tape around boxes and ends.
Attach labels for shipping.
Block finished moldings into desired lengths and cut out defects.
Work on first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Be available for mandatory overtime, working 10-12 hours a day as needed.Essential Skills
Experience with molder and machine operation.
Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
Manufacturing experience, particularly with molding machines.
Ability to work from prints and perform simple machine setups.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is hot in the summer and cool in the winter. As a woodworking company, the environment can be dusty at times. Employees are required to wear jeans, t-shirts, and safety glasses, which are provided. The facility is equipped with kiln-drying operations, automated rough mills, in-house tooling, and advanced molding technology.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
