Join Our Team as a Tool Maintenance Worker!About the Role
Are you a skilled tool maintenance professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team and work with cutting-edge equipment in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Tool Maintenance Worker, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.What You'll Do:
Operate Advanced Equipment: Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, and grinders to machine parts for die casting equipment.
Repair and Modify Dies/Molds: Clean die cavities, make gate changes, remove drag, straighten cores, and drill water lines.
Precision Work: Use blueprints and precision measuring tools to create slides, ejector pins, cores, and pinions.
Diagnose and Repair: Analyze issues, diagnose necessary repairs, and perform them while dies are still set in the casting machine.
Forklift Operation: Occasionally operate a forklift to assist with tasks.
Quality Assurance: Inspect work for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications.
Adaptability: Modify your work schedule and duties as needed to support company operations.Essential Skills:

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with the ability to read and understand English language work instructions.
Preferred Education: A two-year technical or equivalent degree.
Minimum Experience: One year in a similar position, mechanical aptitude, effective computer use, basic math skills, independent decision-making, and effective self-management.
Preferred Experience: Strong computer and math skills, one year of on-the-job instruction and/or apprenticeship programs, and demonstrated success in increasingly complex assignments.Why You'll Love Working Here:

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
