Job Description

Immediate need for two CNC Machinists (Lathe Setup/Operator & Mill Programmer) to join growing company!

Schedule: 1st Shift On-Site

A leading precision engineering company in Carpinteria is looking to bring two experienced CNC professionals onto their team. These are full-time, long-term opportunities with growth potential for candidates who demonstrate skill, reliability, and job stability.

Position 1: CNC Lathe Setup / Operator

We are seeking a CNC machinist with at least 2 years of experience in either mill or lathe operation. This role involves full setup and operation of CNC machines. Candidates with experience programming HAAS Mills and Lathes are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience

Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints

Skilled in holding close tolerances

Able to inspect and deburr parts

Position 2: CNC Mill Programmer (Mastercam)

We are looking for a CNC Mill Programmer with hands-on Mastercam experience. This role includes setup responsibilities and requires a strong understanding of machining principles.

Requirements:

Experience in programming mills using Mastercam

CNC machine setup experience

Ability to read drawings and blueprints

Precision tolerance inspection and deburring skills
