Electrical Estimator

Prepare cost estimates for Industrial, Municipal and Commercial projects.

Conduct on-site evaluations as needed to determine project scope.

Evaluate construction plans, blueprints and information gathered during on-site visits to analyze work plans and determine project scheduling.

Maintain strong customer relationships providing highest quality service.

Work as a team player in preparation bid and estimating documents.

Job Requirements:

4-years previous commercial, institutional, and industrial electrical estimating experience a plus.

Familiarity with electrical equipment, materials and specifications.

Experience reading and interpreting blueprints. (Electrical & Mechanical)

Knowledge of the National Electrical Codes (NEC)

Auto CAD knowledge a plus

High energy individual that is self-motivated and committed to personal and professional success.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.

Experience with contract documents such as contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendum, specifications, and change orders.

Work under the direct supervision of the management team.

Experience performing complex design/build and conceptual estimating.

MS Office and scheduling software programs.
