Established and Growing practice is current seeking an experienced Tax and Accounting professional to join their team! In this role you will review financial statements, perform compilations, prepare adjusting journal entries and prepare and review all tax returns - business and personal - Federal, State and Local. Diverse client base includes privately held companies in the $5million to $50million range. Industries include wholesale, retail, hospitality, professional services etc. Fully electronic environment on the cloud! Lacerte, QuickBooks and Engagement (CCH ProSystem) are used. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Oversee and perform tax compliance activities for individuals and businesses, including:

• Prepare and Review Federal and State income tax returns

• Tax planning and projections

• Tax research, resolution and correspondence

• Manage client information requests and deliverables

• Ensure accurate, timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns

• Financial Statements, Trial Balance, adjusting Journal Entries, Compilations

• Collaborate with staff, clients and management

Skills and Experience desired:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

• 3-10 years of relevant work experience in public accounting

• Certified Public Accountant a plus (or working towards), Masters, Enrolled Agent also a plus

• Knowledge of finance, accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

• Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations

• Strong computer skills

• Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with team in various levels
