Key Responsibilities
Design and develop new mechanical products using CAD (SolidWorks preferred) with a strong focus on manufacturability and performance.
Manage the entire product lifecycle—from early concept sketches to final release for production.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance.
Evaluate and test prototypes for function, performance, and durability.
Identify and integrate new materials or manufacturing techniques to improve products.
Document designs, maintain engineering change orders (ECOs), and ensure accuracy in BOMs and technical drawings.
Continuously improve existing designs based on feedback, testing, and evolving standards.
Qualifications
5+ years of mechanical design engineering experience, ideally in a fast-paced product development environment.
A strong history of long-term employment or tenure that reflects loyalty and commitment.
Expertise in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
Experience designing for plastics, metals, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication.
Strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Passion for product performance, durability, and aesthetic excellence.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
