Millwork Estimator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Custom Cabinet/ Millwork Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and preparing accurate cost estimates. You will work along side the Procurement Department to obtain specialty pricing when needed - and collaborate with the in-house design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Millwork estimating.

Duties:

- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings for material take-off

- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for labor and materials (finishing not in your job scope)

- Adhere to strict deadlines

- Collaborate with in house team to obtain all necessary information - ie budgets, materials, etc.

- Prepare accurate material and timely costs for cabinetry/millwork jobs

- Provide support during the project execution phase by addressing any cost-related issues or changes, ie change orders

- Utilize Microsoft Excel/Word/Estimating programs

Experience:

- Proven experience in custom millwork estimating, preferably in the custom cabinetry sector

- Strong knowledge of cabinet building methods and materials

- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

- Strong communication skills
