Essential Functions
Reviews customer or government specifications to derive qualification, manufacturing and test procedures for ARi manufacturing and customer approvals when required.
Works with Sales and Manufacturing Departments and with customer on product and specification changes
Explores new modes or alternative steps of manufacturing which might be appropriate for the Company's products or proposed products.
Plans and designs modifications or alterations to the existing manufacturing processes.
· * Participates in assigned projects that require attention beyond the level of routine attention afforded by the manufacturing system.
· * Works to achieve lowest cost manufacturing consistent with acceptable quality, insuring that accurate documentation is achieved in conjunction with that process.
· * May suggest procedures for prevention measures relative to the company’s manufacturing safety consciousness for reduction of accidents and worker’s compensation claims.
· * Suggests possible trouble aspects of the manufacturing procedures to limit rejections and maximize yields.
· * Explores the feasibility of manufacture for particular products or variations of products in order to satisfy customer requirements within the context of viable production operations.
· * May identify costs associated with the manufacture or fabrication of products within the group.

This job operates mostly in a professional office environment but does require frequent presence in production, inspection, shipping and inventory locations.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7.30 a.m. to 4.00p.m. 45 minute lunch. Work week is 38.75 hours
Travel
Travel is not expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s or Masters of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or other related discipline required
Preferred Education and Experience
3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
