Midlevel Provider Position Summary:

A. Dhandayuthapani MD PC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Midlevel Provider, either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, to join our team in Columbus, GA. In this role, you will work closely with our physicians to provide high-quality patient care, manage acute and chronic medical conditions, and contribute to the overall success of our practice. The ideal candidate is a dedicated and team-oriented individual who shares our commitment to excellence in healthcare.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients with Chronic kidney disease, hypertension, Electrolyte issues and end-stage renal disease on dialysis.

Weekend Calls every 4th weekend

Will be working with Physician in Out Patient Office, Dialysis setting and In-Patient setting

Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans based on patient needs.

Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.

Prescribe medications and manage medication therapy in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Document patient encounters accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records in the electronic health record system.

Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

Current Georgia and Alabama state licensure and certification as an NP or PA.

2-3 years of experience as a Midlevel Provider in an internal medicine or primary care setting Preferred. But, necessary training and orientation will be provided to an enthusiastic and motivated new graduate.

Strong clinical skills, including the ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with patients and colleagues in a compassionate and professional manner.

Proficient in the use of electronic health records and technology-based healthcare tools.

Compensation & Benefits:

Annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $130,000 based on experience and qualifications.
