Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Painting Foreman to join our team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage crew members, and ensure high-quality production on every job site.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of painting crew members
Track and verify crew members' hours; ensure timesheets are completed and submitted to the office daily
Maintain organized records of all receipts when using the company card for material purchases
Order appropriate materials according to the job scope and ensure timely delivery
Delegate tasks effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency on site
Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and promote growth within the company
Maintain clean and organized job sites at all times
Monitor material usage to minimize waste and control costs
Coordinate with other trades or subcontractors when needed to ensure smooth workflow
Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures
Inspect materials and equipment regularly to identify issues such as malfunctions or mistints
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of professional painting experience (preferred)
At least 1 year of experience in a foreman or supervisory role (preferred)
Strong knowledge of painting tools, equipment, and materials (required)
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team (required)
Strong time management and problem-solving skills (required)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required)
Valid driver’s license (required)
Please note: This role is based primarily on outdoor commercial job sites. Applicants must be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds or more and working outdoors for full 8-hour shifts, five days a week.
