Job Description:

We are currently seeking a well-qualified individual with the necessary skills to fill the role of Project Manager in Geotechnical Department within the firm. You will be joining growth-minded professionals dedicated to providing solutions to complex geotechnical and environmental challenges. Come and be a part of our energetic Team!

Job Duties:

Meet department fees & profit goals

Experience managing a team of junior engineers and projects

Proven track record of managing budgets on-time

Experience interfacing with clients

Experience delivering innovative & cost-effective solutions to clients

Serves as technical consultant, solving major technical problems, developing engineering standards and guides, and determining program objectives and requirements

Analyzes projects and makes cost-effective design recommendations, monitors design approaches, and makes final design decisions

Provides consultation and advice throughout the company on matters within area of expertise

Monitors budget conformance

Actively serves in quality control capacity

Markets company services

Conducts technical training workshops and serves as mentor to less experienced engineers and other technical professionals

May function as the project manager for routine to complex projects. Responsibilities may include marketing, negotiating contracts, budgeting, financial management, schedule coordination and resources allocation

Performs other duties to support the team from time to time as necessary

Qualifications:

Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) registration

Minimum 15-18 years of experience

Excellent communication skills

Experience with Department of Transportation work preferred

Knowledge of Microsoft Suite products and engineering programs

Variety of completed projects demonstrating knowledge across the field of engineering

Experience on large and small projects

Salary:

Position is full-time

Salary will be commensurate with experience
