Job Description

We are looking for a Scrum Master to lead and coach our teams to success. This position will be full-time contract and onsite in Miramar, FL.

What You’ll Do

Establish team metrics such as capacity and throughput

Track sprint progress and help drive teams to meet their sprint goals

Build and maintain strong relationships within the team

Lead and coach teams to achieve successful outcomes

What You'll Need

Required:

At least 7 years of experience in software development delivery with at least 4 years of dedicated full-time Scrum Master experience

Proven track record of successfully growing and maturing teams or experience leading Agile transformations

Familiarity with agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile

Ability to coach and train team members on Scrum framework and related artifacts

Embody Scrum values and principles

Understand application of Lean/Agile tools and techniques based on team needs

Display continuous learning mindset

Capable of leading distributed and remote teams

Hold team accountable to agreements and commitments

Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency

Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories, etc.

Experience in applying Scrum patterns and techniques

Excellent communication and mentoring skills

Preferred:

Master of JIRA, Confluence, etc.

Second or Third Level Scrum Master certification (PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC)

Project Management Professional certification preferred

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationery most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
