We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in Los Altos, California. Responsibilities:
• Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations using tools like QuickBooks.
• Handle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Oversee month-end close activities, preparing financial reports and maintaining organized records.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Maintain and update master files, both physical and digital, with strict attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Coordinate schedules and calendars across internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Support office management functions, including inventory oversight and operational efficiency.
• Assist with special projects and high-priority tasks as directed by management.
• Evaluate and implement technology solutions to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
• Provide administrative support for corporate initiatives, including real estate management and business investments.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting roles, with proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of financial processes, including account reconciliations, payroll, and month-end close.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
• Familiarity with data entry and maintaining both physical and digital files.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining reliability and consistency.
