Job Description
The individual in this role will be responsible for setting up DMG Mori Seiki Mills. This includes handling setups, edits, G&M Codes, tool changes, troubleshooting, and more. You can expect 4-6 setups per day, working on low volume runs of 25 parts or less, as well as prototype parts for the engineering team. The role also involves working with Manual Mills and Lathes and inspecting your own parts.
Responsibilities
Set up DMG Mori Seiki Mills
Handle setups, edits, G&M Codes, and tool changes
Perform troubleshooting as needed
Conduct 4-6 setups per day
Work on low volume runs of 25 parts or less
Create prototype parts for the engineering team
Operate Manual Mills and Lathes
Inspect own partsEssential Skills
3+ years of CNC Mill Setup experience
Ability to make G&M edits
Proficiency in reading production and short-run blueprints
2-year CNC degree or certificate
Experience with manual mills or lathes
Proficiency in CNC machining, CNC mill, and CNC lathe operations
Competence in inspection processes
Familiarity with using calipers and gaugesAdditional Skills & Qualifications
Shop Math experience

Work Environment
Our facility is clean, organized, and well-lit. It is climate-controlled and features a smaller, more intimate team. The department includes 3 mills and 3 turning centers, all Mori Seiki, with a total of 13 people in the department.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00/hr.
