Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst II to join our team in Juno Beach, Florida. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to critical operational analyses and support informed decision-making within the business unit. You will collaborate across teams and utilize your expertise to manage diverse tasks, including project coordination, risk assessment, and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed operational analyses to support business decisions, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Manage the daily exposure evaluation process to ensure collateral requirements are met, including margining and database updates.
• Oversee outbound collateral activities, such as guarantees, letters of credit, cash, and surety bonds, in coordination with Treasury, banks, insurance providers, and legal teams.
• Assist front office personnel in market participation and bid assurance processes, including reporting, collateral adjustments, and annual filings.
• Conduct credit and liquidity risk assessments, ensuring compliance with organizational controls and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with Credit Underwriting to review contracts and ensure credit limits align with portfolio requirements.
• Partner with IT to guide system enhancements, assist in testing functionalities, and prioritize tasks to meet compliance deadlines.
• Utilize tools such as Power BI and Power Automate to develop reports and streamline processes.
• Play a key role in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead or contribute to special projects aimed at improving business operations and compliance procedures.• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
• Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of credit and liquidity risk assessments and related compliance requirements.
• Experience in managing collateral processes, including daily margining and database updates.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, Treasury, and Credit Underwriting.
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
