Specialist, Production Control (093884)

Support integrated systems for managing industrial production processes for automotive manufacturing, including logistics and material flow from local and Korean partners, production coordination and human work factors to maximize quantity, improve efficiency and reduce logistics cost.

This position requires the following skills, which may be gained through experience or education in degree granting programs (including coursework, projects, papers, internships completed during education for credit or not, practical training experiences or similar):

- Estimation of production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures, preparation of recommendations for management review, action, and control.

- Design of improvements to manufacturing line processes and optimization of warehouse assembly flows.

- Optimization and utilization of material flows for efficiency and improvement of work processes and logistics.

- Design and implementation of methods to improve scheduling of labor and cost control with a focus on minimizing overtime.

- Analysis and design of human work systems including engineering, psychological, and physiological principles.

- AutoCAD and CATIA.

A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable.
