Assistant Human Resource Manager

VACANCY FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE BAHAMAS The Antiquities, Monuments and Museum Board of The National Museum of The Bahamas, a statutory body ( ) established in 1998 is seeking to recruit an Assistant Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the work of the Human Resources Unit.

The successful applicant will : Provide support to the Human Resources Manager and assist with the overall Human Resources Unit.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES : 1.

Assist with the daily operations of the Human Resources Unit; 2.

Assist with the Supervision of Clerical and Custodial staff of the Corporation; 3.

Assist with the preparation of recommendations for staff in connection with: Promotion Reclassification Salary progression Leave Disciplinary procedure 4.

Assist with the Oversite of the organization and management of personal and confidential records/files of the line and supervisory staff; 5.

Oversee the management of the Attendance register and provide the necessary correspondence when there is a contravention of the policies related thereto.

6.

Assist with the identification of training needs within the organization.

7.

Other duties assigned within the designated career path.

Requirements : 1.

Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Public Administration, or related field with 6-8 years Human Resources experience or 2.

Associate’s degree in human resources management, Public Administration, or certificate in Human Resources equivalent to an associate’s degree with (10) years Human Resources experience with good writing and communication skills.
