Trainee Internal Recruitment Consultant

Salary - £25,500 - £26,000

Location: Leeds City Centre

Supporting Offices in: Leeds, London, Nottingham & Dubai (You will not be based in these offices just assisting hiring).

Are you a confident, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced recruitment environment? We’re looking for a T rainee Internal Recruiter to join our internal recruitment team and help drive the growth of our business.

As a Trainee Internal Recruiter, your role will be pivotal in identifying, sourcing, and placing high-potential candidates into opportunities across our global network of firms.

About the Role:

As a trainee internal recruiter, you’ll play a key role in identifying and attracting top talent for our offices in Leeds, London, Nottingham, and Dubai . While your primary focus will be on internal hiring, there is also the opportunity to support external clients in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively source and engage candidates through various channels

Conduct a high volume of phone calls to identify and qualify talent (if you’re hesitant to pick up the phone, this role isn’t for you!)

Keep track of internal hiring needs and ensure our recruitment efforts are aligned

Post job ads and company updates on LinkedIn to attract candidates

Perform administrative recruitment tasks, such as scheduling interviews and updating records

Manage your own diary and workload with autonomy

Work closely with our small internal team to meet recruitment goals

Build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers

What We’re Looking For:

A confident and self-motivated individual who takes initiative

Strong communication skills, especially over the phone

Ability to manage workload independently and take ownership of tasks

Good organisation skills with attention to detail for admin tasks

Familiarity with LinkedIn and recruitment platforms is a plus

Previous recruitment or resourcing experience is beneficial but not essential
