Job Description

Ord.io is building the all-in-one platform for Web3 on Bitcoin. Our product offers a seamless, unified experience for exploring and trading Bitcoin memecoins and NFTs, tracking portfolios, and socializing in token-gated group chats. By prioritizing user safety and ease of use, we have gained significant traction and raised a $2M pre-seed round in April 2024. We are a fully remote team.

Responsibilities

Lead initiatives to launch new products and infrastructure

Maintain and improve existing systems

Strengthen and evolve our culture of engineering excellence

Interface directly with users and help shape the product direction

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

5+ years full-time software engineering experience

Proficient with Node.js, MySQL, Redis, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, AWS, CI/CD

Strong experience building and owning high-availability, scalable, secure, low-latency systems

Self-starter who proactively takes initiative without waiting for direction and can jump in and start providing value on day one

Nice to Have: Experience with Bitcoin and crypto
