Salary:
Solution Analyst
Combining industry knowledge with business analysis skills, the Solution Analyst will serve primarily as the main executor of customer facing activities throughout an implementation project. Additionally, the role will serve as a liaison between sales, customer business units, software development teams and project support teams. This role requires a high level of travel.
Required:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Work/Human Services or related field and 3 years relevant experience, OR 5+ years relevant experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe PDFs
Must be authorized to work and currently live in the United States
Must be willing and able to travel extensively, up to 85% of the time
Desired:
Experience in Health and Human Services a plus
Certification achievement of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) is a plus
Certified Change Management Profession a plus
Specialized training in Project Management, Business Analysis, Business Planning, Organizational Assessment, and/or Business Strategy and Analytics a plus
What youll be doing
Assist in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules
Collaborate with subject matter experts both internally and externally, market owners, product owners and developers to translate customer business needs into software application requirements and software enhancement requests
Critically evaluate information gathered and understand business process management to translate customer business needs into specific project requirements
Determine system design specifications and define test conditions both technical and business compatibility, preparing a plan for validating system design, facilitate system design testing using test scripts and/or test scenarios, and completing corresponding documentation
Identify and communicate the effect of product changes to business and technical processes on the project
Elicit project requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, task and workflow analysis, use cases, etc
Facilitate customer-facing activities (both in person and remotely through video-conference platforms) throughout project implementation including system design workshops, change management identification sessions, and other activities as assigned
Keep up to date with Northwoods products and technical sector developments in the industry
Provide business analysis on internal projects
Responsible for the documentation of integration requirements, as well as the creation of each customer facing data matrix, data extract file and other identified integration documentation

Demonstrated ability to recognize, analyze, and document recommended implementation strategies associated with improved business practices.
Full functional ability to use computer and computer related equipment, which includes standard MS Office applications and video/tele-conferencing platforms. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Possesses knowledge of Business Analysis fundamentals and/or human services field
Proficiency with business process mapping tools (i.e., Microsoft Visio) and techniques (i.e. flow charts, swim lane diagrams, etc.)
Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills; including the ability to clarify issues, analyze and consider all options and identify solution and enact corrective measures, and measures performance against goals
Skill in applying innovative technology solutions within human services organizations
Understanding of human services industry and client organization's direction, structure, and requirements as related to innovation maturity
