Mobile Medical is full-service in-home primary care to the home-bound/home-limited patient population, focusing on total patient care.
What does a Mobile Medical Nurse Practitioner do?
A Mobile Medical Nurse Practitioner provides medical house calls for a variety of tasks. Some tasks include:
Provide medical evaluations and care
Examine patients and their medical records
Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.)
Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases
Prescribe medications
Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics, and prevention
What are the qualifications for a Mobile Medical Nurse Practitioner?
Master's Degree level Adult, Geriatric Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the
What skills are required to be a Mobile Medical Nurse Practitioner?
We are a specialized group of advanced practicing nurses treating patients in their homes. Proven skills are required for the effective administering of evidence-based care. Some of those skills include:
Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a medical clinic, hospital, ER, or other settings
Expertise in primary care, acute care, and chronic care practices
Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
Excellent communication skills
What shifts are available?
Patient visits take place Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to create your schedule. This provides the opportunity for a more consistent work/life balance.
