We are Utility Design Partners, LLC (UDP), a Fiber Optic/Broadband/Telecom Engineering Firm located in northeast Alabama, and we are currently hiring for Multiple Positions in the Cleveland & Starkville, Mississippi areas. UDP is experiencing exponential growth and is in immediate need of SEVERAL high-caliber individuals with experience in the following disciplines:
Resident Telecom Engineer: The resident engineer will provide engineering/construction oversight for FTTH Fiber Optic Network Build, and will include weekly project reporting to Network Owner, as well as inspection phase reporting (weekly progress reports, cleanup notes, etc.) to ensure compliance with Rural Utility Services (RUS) standards. Salary range: 60-75K/yr.
Construction Inspectors: must possess knowledge of underground cable placement, primarily by Horizontal Directional Drills, as well as other common excavation methods. Our Construction Inspectors are always on-site collecting information and ensuring construction crews are adhering to our Customer's exacting standards. Salary range: 46-56K/yr.
Must be local Mississippi Residents.
All Positions are eligible for Overtime.
