YOUR IMPACT
The Civil Engineer - Project Manager works with a dedicated multidisciplinary engineering team to manage land development and construction projects while strengthening client relationships and developing new business opportunities.
Leadership:
Lead municipal engineering projects and coordinate capital improvement projects for the public sector
Oversee road rehab, stormwater management, land development reviews, utility design, and other projects
Handle project management duties like scheduling, solving design and construction issues, preparing work proposals, establishing budgets, and creating construction estimates
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
Monitor projects from beginning to end to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
Client Support and Public Engagement:
Collaborate with consultants, government agencies, contractors, and other partners throughout the infrastructure projects
Attend municipal planning, zoning, and land-use board meetings
Attend project meetings with clients
Update stakeholders on project progress
Review municipal development applications
Prepare and present monthly reports for clients
Team and Business Development:
Mentor junior engineers
Support technical skill development and professional growth opportunities
Participate in marketing-related proposals and programs to maintain existing clients while pursuing new opportunities
REQUIREMENTS
B.S. degree in civil engineering
Pennsylvania PE certification
10+ years of progressive experience servicing private clients, managing infrastructure projects, or designing land development projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interpersonal and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
CME, CFM, or PP
Site development experience
Experience in public testimony before Land Use Boards
GIS and Hydraflow software experience
