TA Staffing is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Welder to support our manufacturing operations. If you have a passion for precision, hands-on craftsmanship, and take pride in producing high-quality work, we want to hear from you!
Pay: $24 - $30/hr. DOE
Hour: 3:30PM - 12:00AM
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Measure and prepare workpieces using calipers, rulers, grinders, and clamps.
Operate manual and automated welding equipment in various positions (e.g., vertical, horizontal).
Fabricate and assemble new or replacement metal parts according to project layouts.
Ensure proper arc length and welding speed for desired fusion and bead quality.
Inspect welds for precision, bead size, and structural soundness.
Grind, clean, and repair weld joints or improperly welded sections.
Assemble parts using hand tools and small power tools.
Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment and accessories.
Log work progress through our computer-based data collection system.
Prioritize tasks by assessing job complexity, materials needed, and deadlines.
Comply with all plant safety procedures and wear required protective gear.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required
Welding certification highly preferred
Experience:
2–4 years of hands-on experience working with steel and aluminum
Proven proficiency in wire feed welding, layout, and fabrication
Experience with mechanical systems and hydraulics is a plus
Comfortable using power tools, pneumatic wrenches, grinder; etc.
Demonstrate competency in basic shop math
Ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawings.
Flexible and responsive, with a strong teamwork orientation.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge.
Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed and continuous improvement.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Skills & Competencies:
