Description:

Responsible for daily activities of facilities planning, facility maintenance, and real estate administration functions.

Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and functional.

Maintenance Coordination: Execute or coordinate maintenance and repair work, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to office activities.

Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and service providers for office management, equipment maintenance, and other services.

Safety Compliance: Ensure office complies with Target Zero health and safety in all daily work activities, contractor safety, and employee safety and wellbeing within their area of influence. Assist EH&S group for the Akron corporate office regarding Target Zero initiatives, emergency evacuation information, and emergency responder team.

Office Planning: Support office planning including real estate review, space allocation and office moves, prepare or support preparation of cost estimates and schedules.

Event Coordination: Assist in planning layout and setup office events, meetings, and other activities within the office space.

Budget Management: Participate in facilities budget planning, capital planning, cash flow management.

Reporting: Prepare and maintain records, reports, and documentation related to facilities management.

2-5 years of experience in facility operations and/or office management

Experience in and knowledge of real estate, office planning, office maintenance

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of the organization including a strong team/customer service orientation

Proficient in use of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook; AutoCAD software knowledge beneficial
