About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our innovative team at BrainPOP. As we continue to expand our platform and enhance user experiences, we require a seasoned developer who can contribute their expertise to our dynamic projects.

In this role, you will

Develop and maintain scalable web applications and APIs

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices

Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure seamless performance

Work closely with Product Management, UX & Design, and other Developers to build new tools enabling creativity at scale

Ensure our code is of the highest quality by practicing and evangelizing engineering best practices (code reviews, pairing, etc.)

You have

B.Sc.or M.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer

Experience with PHP and frameworks like Laravel or Symfony

Experience with a modern client-side framework like Vue, React, Angular or Ember

Architectural understanding of web applications

Knowledge and understanding of work in modern environments: version control, build tools, CI servers

Superior creative and innovative problem-solving skills

Eager to learn more about new languages and frameworks

A disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
