Job Title: Network Support Technician
Job Type: 6 Month Contract to Direct.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and clients.
Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, hardware failures, and software malfunctions.
Windows 10 deployment
Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades to ensure security and reliability.
Collaborate with other IT teams to support network-related projects and initiatives.
Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
Requirements:
Previous MSP experience preferred by not required
Minimum 3 year’s experience as a Network Technician or similar role
Bachelor's degree preferred by not required in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with firewall management and security protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
