Summary:

This position will collaborate to define, develop, and execute a programs workflow/systems to ensure the highest levels of service and quality are attained. Execute production workflows, create and maintain technical documentation and manage large databases. Assist in analyses, write SQL scripts and test code to achieve the business requirements. Monitor the execution of systems, isolate areas for improvement, perform problem identification, follow escalation plan and provide resolution. Sustain a high level of support to clients and internal business owners.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

2+ years IT work experience in production support, programming, development

2 + MS SQL knowledge and experience required

Workflow setup and configuration, execution and support (40% development, 30% execution, 30% support)

Demonstrate an understanding of business and technical requirements for each assigned project

Demonstrate an understanding of system performance expectations for application being developed

Work as part of a project team to meet or exceed customer expectations

Work with information technology Business Analysts to create and update requirements

Produce code to meet standards for each assigned task

Create and perform unit test plans with expected results

Follow and demonstrate an understanding of adopted processes/methodologies

Maintain and support applications as needed

Update technical documentation and production specifications

Participate in project meetings

Identify efficiencies to enhance functionality and performance of applications. Work with appropriate team members to implement and test.

Respond to and work with appropriate team members to resolve all support requests

Work with team members to create accurate task estimates

Follow schedules and meet task deadlines

May lead projects of moderate complexity

Maintain legacy applications

Provide some after-hours support

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field OR equivalent work experience

2+ years Info Tech work experience in production support, programming and development

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Ability to understand and edit XML data

Strong oral and written communication skills

Solid time management skills and ability to multi-task

Ability to work independently and in team/collaborative environment
