QA Automation Engineer

An established and successful Payment Provider for the automotive industry is looking to add to their growing QA team.

This is a direct-hire role and at this time the organization is unable to offer sponsor or transfer of work visas. The company practices a hybrid work environment requiring 3 days/week on-site presence in downtown Chicago.

Responsibilities:

Develop automated tests using WebDriver IO, JavaScript (TypeScript), and hybrid frameworks with 3 years of automation experience.

Work with frameworks like Jasmine, Mocha, and Cucumber.

Conduct performance and distributed load testing.

Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or AWS.

Design and execute test suites for various test levels.

Familiarity with relational and non-relational database design.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical.

Experience with mobile automation testing.

Work effectively under pressure and within a dynamic team environment.

Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and regression testing.

Hands-on experience with front and back-end testing.

Collaborate with various teams to ensure quality code and user experience.

Qualifications:

6 years of experience in QA/testing with at least 3 years of automation testing.

Knowledge of Test Automation tools like Selenium, WebDriver IO, JavaScript, Java, Test NG, Cucumber BDD, and Test Management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).

Experience in software testing, project management, and business analysis.

Bachelor's degree in technical sciences or information systems.

Strong experience with different software development methodologies.

Experience in manual and automated testing of web applications and APIs.

Knowledge of data analytics using SQL and MS Excel/VB scripting.

Experience with Jira and GIT.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
