What You'll Do:

Design and Develop: Architect cutting-edge solutions tailored to our clients' unique needs.

Lead and Inspire: Guide and mentor developers in creating and maintaining stunning reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics.

Innovate and Create: Craft state-of-the-art BI solutions leveraging data from cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.

Analyze and Optimize: Write and maintain SQL queries to retrieve data from relational databases, ensuring top-notch performance.

Visualize: Design and develop eye-catching reports and dashboards that bring data to life.

Document and Share: Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, data flow diagrams, and comprehensive technical documentation.

Set Standards: Define best practices for reporting, data visualization, and analytics solutions.

Secure and Protect: Implement robust data security, role-based access controls, and compliance measures with BI platforms.

Tune and Enhance: Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for Cognos environments to ensure smooth operations.

Support and Troubleshoot: Provide top-tier technical support to end-users on report and dashboard-related issues.

Plan and Execute: Participate in project planning and contribute your expertise to the design and development process.

Resolve and Upgrade: Troubleshoot and resolve complex Cognos issues, and oversee the migration and upgrade of Cognos environments.

Manage and Deliver: Ensure projects adhere to timelines and budgets, delivering exceptional results.

What We're Looking For:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 7+ years as a Cognos BI developer or architect.

Skills: Mastery of IBM Cognos Analytics (11.x or later), Cognos Framework Manager, Report Studio, Dashboarding, and Analysis Studio.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

Technical: Proficiency with SQL and database technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Oracle), and experience with Power BI, ThoughtSpot SaaS, and REACT is a plus.

Analytical: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly grasp complex business processes.

Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.

Certifications: IBM Cognos certifications are a must.
