Lead Automation Engineer

Role: Automation Lead/Manager

Location: Chicago, IL

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement test strategies, frameworks, and processes to ensure quality.

Manage test planning, execution, and reporting across multiple projects.

Lead and mentor testing teams, providing technical guidance and support.

Drive test automation initiatives using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.

Oversee test environment and test data management, ensuring integrity and availability.

Identify and mitigate testing risks, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks.

Collaborate with development, business, and DevOps teams to align testing goals.

Ensure best practices in Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps testing methodologies.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA and HP ALM.

Strong background in database testing, SQL, and API testing.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Ability to drive innovative testing solutions and continuous improvements.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
