The Sr. Network Engineer will be responsible for advance networking tasks, including the design, deployment, management, and troubleshooting of Cisco-based data center environments with the focus on Cisco NX-OS, ACI, ISE and DNA Center. This position also includes team leadership responsibilites for the LAN team curently consisting of 7-8 team members. Other job requirements include:
Develop and implement advance data center network designs using Cisco NX-OS and/or Cisco ACI technologies
Collaborate on network scalability, redundancy, and security strategies
Create solutions tailored to business goals, focusing on high availability and efficiency
Maintain and develop scalable network designs that include Cisco ISE for identify-based access control
Configure and manage Cisco ISE for 802.1x authentication, TACACs+, and RADIUS services

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor’s Degree: Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in network engineering, design and troubleshooting
Experience in leading projects or mentoring junior engineers
Strong verbal and communication skills
Network Expertise: Proficiency in network architecture, design, and implementation, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
Protocols: Deep understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and QoS.
Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and develop solutions.
CCNP or CCNP Data Center, CCIE preferred
ACI
Deep understanding of ACI fabric components, including leaf switches, spine switches, and the APIC (Application Policy Infrastructure Controller)
Knowledge of ACI policy models, tenants, endpoint groups (EPGs), contracts, and application profiles
Experience in deploying ACI fabrics, including fabric discovery, VLANs, VRFs, and Bridge Domains (BDs)
Ability to configure and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity within the ACI environment
Familiarity with integrating ACI with virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere
Knowledge of integrating ACI with external networks using L3Out
NX-OS
Expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies, such as VLANs, VXLAN, and EIGRP
Deep understanding of Cisco NX-OS architecture, including its modular and resilient design
Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco Nexus switches (e.g., Nexus 7000, 9000, 5000 series series)
Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex NX-OS environments and optimize configurations.
Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switches and NX-OS features like VDC (Virtual Device Context) and ISSU (In-Service Software Upgrade)
Preferred Skills and Education
Ability to design complex LAN/WAN & WLAN environments
In-depth understanding of layer 2 technologies such as VLANs, Spanning-tree, port channels, and vPC.
Expertise in enterprise wireless networks and protocols such as 802.11 standards
Ability to use tools such as Wireshark, Solarwinds, or NetFlow for network diagnostics.
Advance troubleshooting skills in performance, connectivity and reliability
Ability to work independently
Experience using MS Visio, MS PowerPoint or other tools for designing complex networks.
Experience with Windows server
