MasTec is actively interviewing multiple Home Installation Professionals to provide installation and support for advanced home technologies, including satellite dishes, home security, and smart home automation in the residential community near you. Previous experience is not required as we have a robust 4-week training program to set you up for success.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert recommendations on technology solutions and ensure proper installation.

• Conduct thorough training sessions for customers on product usage.

• Perform on-site sales techniques to enhance customer experience.

• Operate in an independent and multitasking environment.

• Continuously update knowledge on the latest technologies to provide optimal service.

Training:

• Training lasts for four weeks in total.

• Classroom training will start on 5/27/2025 in Amherst, NY

• Weeks 1 and 3 will be in the classroom from 7:30 – 4:30

• Weeks 2 and 4 will be on-the-job/field training from 7:30 – 4:30 (Weekend availability and flexible schedule needed to accommodate mentor’s schedule)

• Reliable transportation is a requirement for training.

• Training pays $18.00/HR.

Hours & Compensation:

• Flexible schedule including weekends or evenings.

• Saturdays are mandatory.

• Training pay is guaranteed for the first 8 weeks of employment. However, you can start earning piece rate from your first third week.

• Client level 2 DirecTV This job pays with piecework, meaning you would be paid per job completed as a W2. (Estimate $22-26/hr pay)

• If you meet the minimum qualification, you will receive an invitation to schedule an interview with a recruiter.

• If your phone interview is successful, you will be invited to complete an application on MasTec’s ATS, followed by a 25-minute assessment which will give you more insights into Technicians’ day-to-day work.

• Depending on your assessment results, you will receive your offer letter.

• Receive/Sign offer!

• Complete a drug screening and background check.

• Results posted/we will confirm if you are being hired.
