Technician

MasTec is actively interviewing multiple Home Installation Professionals to provide installation and support for advanced home technologies, including satellite dishes, home security, and smart home automation in the residential community near you. No previous experience is required as we offer a robust 4-week training program to set you up for success.

Responsibilities:

Provide expert recommendations on technology solutions and ensure proper installation.

Conduct thorough training sessions for customers on product usage.

Perform on-site sales techniques to enhance customer experience.

Operate in an independent and multitasking environment.

Continuously update knowledge on the latest technologies to provide optimal service.

Training:

Training lasts for four weeks in total.

Classroom training starts on 5/27/2025 in Bossier City, LA.

Weeks 1 and 3: Classroom training from 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.

Weeks 2 and 4: On-the-job/field training from 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Weekend availability and flexible schedule needed to accommodate mentor’s schedule).

Reliable transportation is required for training.

Training pay: $15.00/hour.

Hours & Compensation:

Flexible schedule including weekends or evenings.

Saturdays are mandatory.

Training pay is guaranteed for the first 8 weeks of employment. You can start earning piece rate from your third week.

Pay is based on piecework, meaning you are paid per job completed as a W2 employee (Estimated $22-26/hour).
