TITLE: Compression Mold Press Operator SUMMARY The Compression Mold Press Operator will have a strong mechanical aptitude with some machine operating experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Setup and operation of up to 5 compression mold machinery Visual inspection of each part using calipers, ohm meters, and gauges.
Read computerized work instructions.
Basic troubleshooting to ensure that product is running correctly.
Clean machinery out after every run and do preventative maintenance.
Safe and efficient operation of compression molding machines to: produce variety of plastic parts Visually inspect parts and separate out defects.
Meet or exceed efficiencies quotas.
Keep workplace clean and orderly utilizing 5S strategies Have knowledge of ISO and Aerospace standards - preferred but not required QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to work in a face paced environment, meet deadlines and stand for long periods of time.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 plus years previous experience working as a machine operator.
Must have basic computer skills, data entry is required to track the production floor.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Client is open to machine operators who are motivated to learn new skills.
Team player.
Must be able to lift up to 25lbs and stand for the entire shift.
Steel toed shoes.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES Mechanically inclined and self motivated.
Excellent work ethic and safety minded.
Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
Requires working in ambient air temperature.
