Responsibilities: * Provide customer with sales quotations, mainly consisting of equipment spare parts.
* Verify that customer purchase orders are correct, and match shared internal documents.
* Verify sales quotation accuracy against purchase order and convert to internal sales order.
* Print pick tickets for order materials and coordinate with planning / logistics groups.
* Follow the order through established process steps as necessary to include data entry in established reports for use by other department staff members.
* Create internal work orders as required for manufactured equipment and assemblies.
* Receive customer inquiries through customer portals and email communications.
* Collaborate with internal operations representatives for technical support.
* Effectively communicate with internal staff and customers regarding, proforma and final invoices.
* Coordinate with production control regarding back orders and active manufacturing efforts.
* Periodic follow-up of responsible open orders paired with timely and professional communication with customer contacts.
* Maintain good organization skills and attention to detail to help resolve any related order discrepancies.
Qualifications/Requirements: * Experience with JD Edwards or similar MRP system preferred.
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based software interfaces.
* Open to the challenge of learning new computer-based systems and processes.
* Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
