Senior QA Engineer (Boomi Integration)

Authority Partners is looking for a skilled and detail-driven QA Engineer to join our integration team supporting Boomi-based projects. This role is focused on validating data workflows, process logic, and platform stability as data moves between enterprise systems such as AS/400, Salesforce, Shopify, and others via Boomi Integration.

Note: The project duration is 4 months.

Key Responsibilities:

Validate data transformation and movement between systems (e.g., AS/400 Boomi Salesforce or Shopify)

Verify Boomi process logic, transformation rules, and mappings (ETL-style testing)

Perform regression testing and retesting after process modifications

Support UAT by creating and executing realistic test cases

Report failures, inconsistencies, and process errors; assist in root cause analysis

Collaborate with integration developers and business stakeholders to refine requirements and test coverage Required Qualifications:

Strong experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar

Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., RestAssured, Katalon)

Hands-on experience with database validation (preferably DB2/AS400 and SQL-based systems)

Solid understanding of ETL concepts and data validation techniques

Ability to read and test against data formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, and flat files

Experience testing scheduled jobs, data syncs, and real-time integrations

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Attention to detail, especially when verifying large or complex datasets Preferred:

Experience working with Boomi platforms (Integration, Flow, Master Data Hub)

Background in eCommerce, finance, or ERP-integrated environments

Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, or Shopify
