Project Controls Manager:

Reports to the Senior Project Manager and has responsibility for managing all aspects of project controls, schedule, contract administration and cost control functions. The project has developed specific standards of operations that should be carried out to full extent.

Job Description

Reviewing project schedule for compliance for subcontractor onboarding process

Creating and issuing subcontractor commitments including all required insurance start up and owner approval process

Reporting and issuance of owner monthly progress report

Accurate Quantities documented on timecards and compliance with project cost coding structure

Management of all T&M process via owner or subcontractor requirements

Input, Monitoring, and Implementation of the JDE Quantity Book

LDR & Cost Report Accuracy

Responsible for drafting letters / notices for Senior Project Manager review in coordination with project day to day demands

Review all owner notices and properly documents and asses impacts for review with the project team

Development and management of all contract provisions with subcontractors’ terms and condition language

Maintain PCO Tracking and execution of all project change requests from inception to final execution

Assists Senior Project Manager on all project compliance requirements

Develop SOV and Coordinate with Scheduling Team for P6 Cost Loading

Project Compliance Coordinator

Jobsite contact point for onboarding, development for subcontractor payment process and accounting reporting accuracy

Jobsite lead for all JDE entries, contact list or issue resolution

Cost Reporting

REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, accounting and finance or similar field of study from an accredited institution and 10+ years of heavy construction experience including client coordination, finance, scheduling, and cost control

5 (five) or more years of project controls experience with an engineering or general contractor

Strong pc skills/knowledge. MS Office, Primavera, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS Heavybid

Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity

Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
