What You Will Be Doing:
As an Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of electrical and instrumentation equipment within our production facility. Your routine maintenance and troubleshooting skills will help maintain optimal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, test, adjust, calibrate, and repair electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems used for monitoring and recording.
Monitor meters, indicators, and gauges to identify abnormal fluctuations.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of operational software and hardware.
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on all control instrumentation.
Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures, demonstrating the ability to resolve these issues effectively.
Manage work orders by performing tasks, logging time, and documenting equipment history.
Diagnose current or potential issues with plant electrical equipment.
Keep equipment clean, lubricated, calibrated, and adjusted as necessary.
Install and service electrical equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in your area, fulfilling housekeeping duties as necessary.
Possess a multi-craft skill set; willingness to take on additional maintenance tasks is a plus.
Who You Are:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Adaptable, able to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Able to maintain and adjust equipment for optimal production and minimal downtime.
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers, Servo, and Frequency Drives required.
Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
Commitment to promoting safety and adhering to workplace protocols.
Willing to perform housekeeping duties in the facility.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
