Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of student attendance
Prepare and issue daily tardy slips, attendance reports, and permits to leave early
Compile and compute data to generate accurate records, reports, and correspondence related to student attendance and reporting requirements
Collaborate with the Assistant Principal and Guidance Office for follow-up on attendance concerns and interventions
Assist the Assistant Principal with day-to-day administrative tasks and special projects
Assist in the placement and preparedness of substitute teachers, including preparing daily substitute packets
Greet and assist office visitors and answer phone calls, resolving concerns or directing them to appropriate personnel
Compose and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
Monitor and verify automated attendance notifications via Parent Square for accuracy
Manage and monitor SafeVisitor check-ins for students and visitors entering or exiting the facility
Monitor school security cameras as needed to assist with student supervision or locating individuals
Maintain and update Infinite Campus, including behavioral referrals, demographic changes, and attendance data
Perform various secretarial and clerical tasks assigned by school administrators
Support students and parents with various needs related to attendance, scheduling, and general inquiries
Manage the school’s Safety Drill database and ensure compliance with monthly drill requirements
Schedule meetings, conferences, and school events based on availability and logistical needs
Maintain confidential records, including student files, attendance records, and meeting documentation
Serve as a front office receptionist and assist with the daily operations of the main office
Assist staff, students, and community members with various needs
Support the planning and execution of Warrior Welcome Day
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong multitasking and time management abilities
Proficient in office procedures, telephone etiquette, and professional communication
Familiarity with state and district attendance rules and regulations
Solid understanding of record-keeping methods and office technology
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
