Brake Press Operator - 1st Shift

What you will do as a Brake Press Operator:

Setup and operate computer programmable/controlled brake press machines

Plan and layout bending sequence, referring to drawings, blueprints or specifications

Bend a variety of products or assemblies of small, light to average weight following standard procedures

Request assistance on large or heavy sheet metal blanks

Setup up various types of metal in performing operations in forming

Align, fit, and adjust parts to meet operating requirements of unit

Troubleshoot and rework pieces that fail tests

Assist Engineering personnel in the modification, parts substitution, and repair

Perform minor maintenance procedures

Coordinate orders on carts by ship dateWhat you need to be a Brake Press Operator:

Knowledge of computer programmable/controlled brake press machines

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints
