Sr Kubernetes Engineer

Are you a seasoned DevSecOps professional with a strong background in Kubernetes and containerized platforms? We’re hiring a Senior Kubernetes Engineer to join a mission-driven team supporting critical systems for national defense.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required

Job Type: Full-Time (Shift role)

What You'll Need:

IAT Level II Certification (e.g. Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, etc.)

12+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in cloud/container platforms and DevSecOps

3+ years deploying & maintaining VMware Tanzu clusters

Strong experience with:

Kubernetes

CI/CD pipelines

Microservices & containerization

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)

U.S. DoD Security Clearance (must be active or eligible)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field

Experience implementing DevSecOps in VMware Tanzu environments

Familiarity with Test Driven Development and PaaS CI/CD pipelines

Proven success in integrating secure DevOps processes across complex platforms
