Manager Product Creation SPW

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

Support the overall Product Creation process for the Indonesia Sportwear FTW Creation Hub by executing against the designated areas of responsibility for the Business model. Manage the development process in all aspects related to product creation, from finalized design, all the way through to product ex-factory.

Key Responsibilities :

Help drive the Product Creation process to deliver against the brief, materials and design intent, meeting gross margin/profitability objectives.

Convert design intent from HQ into a clear plan of action, offering alternative/innovative solutions, and acting as a technical resource on site.

Create product overviews and action plans during development processes and communicate next steps to all involved partners to ensure all milestones are adhered to

Support Design team by revising Tech Drawings for assigned styles/models, ensuring key must-haves are achieved, while keeping in mind costing and manufacturing constraints.

Support on systems and data management tools to help drive efficiency in communication between various partners

Work cross functionally with key partners in sourcing/development/manufacturing to realize the vision of the products and category

Track and facilitate prototyping of multiple projects, identify and address key issues and challenges in construction/manufacturing/costing, and plan accordingly to deliver world class product.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Broad footwear process and development understanding

Unique blend of project management and design experience

Prior knowledge of taking product from conception through implementation preferred

Communication and collaboration skills to fulfill product requirements such as overall aesthetic, cost-engineering, calendar milestones, and overall efficiency.

Ability to work with, communicate and influence various levels of the organization

Thrive in a fast-paced product creation environment

Exposure to design tools like illustrator and capacity to evaluate proportions and aesthetics

Skill in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Ability to travel internationally for consumer trend research and internal meetings and presentations

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

Four year college or university degree, preferably in Marketing/Business

Minimum five (5) years related experience

Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for degree

Experience in Footwear Marketing, Design and\or development
