Infrastructure Architect/Designer

The Role

To deliver the design work required on a strategic program and start doing hands on build work with the engineering team after the Low-level design is complete.

Your responsibilities:

Design and implement physical and virtual server infrastructures.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and security policies.

Collaborate with IT teams to align infrastructure with business goals.

Create Low level GoldenGate for big data designs including clustering for version 19 and 23

Mentor DBA team in new GoldenGate for Big Data components and train staff.

Design and implement secure and scalable Golden Gate for big data infrastructure for payment systems.

Collaborate with wider payments team to integrate Golden Gate into the payment solutions.

Develop disaster recovery plans for Golden Gate specific to payment systems.

Oversee the implementation of Golden Gate big data software and the infrastructure with staff.

Optimize infrastructure for high availability and low latency in payment processing.

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in servers, storage, networking, virtualization

Problem-Solving: Ability to assess and resolve complex IT infrastructure challenges.

Communication: Strong skill’s to collaborate with stakeholders and present technical solutions effectively

Business Acumen: Understanding of organizational goals to align technology solutions.

Mentoring: Ability train technical staff on new components
