CMM Programmer

Location: Wixom, MI, 48393

Summary:

Moeller Aerospace has an open position for a CMM Programmer which requires an organized individual to work in a fast-paced work environment. A knowledge of computers and relevant software applications is required. Also, the candidate shall be capable of performing “hard checks” on components using standard inspection equipment such as bore gages, height gages, micrometers, etc. The individual shall also be responsible for assisting and working with others in assuring quality of product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Write programs for new and existing parts using PC-DMIS software

Write programs for new and existing fixtures using PC-DMIS software

Edit current programs for necessary changes

Write instruction prompts to run programs and identify special circumstances or processes

This is intended to give an overview of the position and is not an exhaustive list. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

Experienced in quality control techniques and measuring equipment in a machining environment

Extensive GD&T knowledge

Ability to read and interpret customer drawings

Experience with PC-DMIS software measurement software

Experience with PC-DMIS software with vision is a plus

Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems, advanced quality assurance techniques, and/or aerospace work would be preferred

Education and/or Experience:

Associates degree or programing certificate or ability to maintain in 6 months
