We’re seeking an experienced, energetic, and results driven Corporate Relations and Events Officer to join our Development Team. The Corporate Relations and Events Officer will implement and manage a successful strategy to grow and retain corporate partners giving major gifts to Catholic Charities. In addition, this position will plan and provide oversight of key fundraising events for the agency.

Key Performance Objectives Include:
Develops an annual plan to retain current and grow new corporate relationships by offering a robust menu of giving opportunities that align with donor interest and agency needs.
Obtains annual corporate giving goals through a variety of tactics incorporated in the annual plan.
Manages a Corporate Donor portfolio of 50+ corporations.
Builds relationships with prospective corporate partners by working with the Development Team, Development Committee, and event Executive Leadership Teams.
Interacts with the corporate sector in each of the counties served by Catholic Charities to identify potential partners and serving as the representative at Chambers of Commerce and other community events.
Implements a corporate donor stewardship plan in collaboration with the Development Team that speaks effectively to corporate sector connection to the mission.
Leads the planning and execution of key special events to generate funds and meet budgeted event goals.
Works with the Development Staff to produce mailing lists and accurately record all event sponsors, donors, attendees and volunteers.
Monitors budgets, expense-to-income ratios and analyzes ROI to prepare regular progress reports regarding the status of the Corporate Fundraising Plan and all events.
Serves in an advisory capacity with the coordination of program specific events; works closely with Regional Program Directors to provide event guidance for planning a successful event.
Adheres to confidentiality in communication with donors, staff, and others to preserve donors’ rights and privacy, also adheres to Donor Bill of Rights.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
A minimum of five years of non-profit development or fundraising experience is required.
Advanced computer skills are required.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills are required.
A demonstrated record of achieving and exceeding established fundraising goals is required.
The ability to balance multiple priorities in a complex environment is required.
A proven ability to work independently is required.
The ability to travel to local venues and meetings is required.
Act 33/34 clearances are required.
