Job Description
Our customer is looking to add a team of IP Network Engineers to help with the quest to implement 5G within their Mobility Network. These folks will be responsible for developing new end-to-end call flows, completing/engineering work orders to support new routing and migrations of IP networks, and will be responsible for all of the necessary documentation. Project Scope
Our Network Cloud & Infrastructure (NC&I) group is readying support to launch the roll-out of 5G Services. These services will be deployed in each of the existing 12 National Data Centers (NDCs). The following services will be provided in support of this launch:
Engineering support
This effort is for the support of Core network (DST, DMZ, SLB, CORE) and services LTE & 5G. This includes an end-to-end process consisting of the design and implementation of call flows in each NDC, as well as integration testing and documentation.
• Call Flows
o IP/Service Call flows
Develop new end-to-end call flows for Services in three 12 datacenters and in the Cloud Network (D2)
Update/develop call flows for services with the new 5G element details in Existing data centers Requirements:
End-to-end call flows will be based on initial templates
Services include external content partner services as well as Our hosted services
Call flows are required per NDC/APN/Service/Function. (12 NDCs* approximately)
Each call flow will be detailed to include data such as specific server names, IP addresses and ports, routers, firewalls, load balancers, packet core elements.
